Behavior Expectations
Stop, Walk, Talk is a building-wide initiative to give students the tools needed to handle problems on their own. All teachers and staff will use the same framework and language so students have a functional approach to dealing with disagreements. These skills will be taught by the classroom teacher, guidance counselor and other staff members.
When a student is annoyed, pestered, bothered, etc. by another student, they will
1. Stop: Ask person to stop and use hand signal calmly. Go about day if person stops.
2. Walk: Walk away calmly if behavior continues. Go about day if person stops.
3. Talk: Talk to a staff member if problem continues.

3 Rs Every student has the right to learn in a safe and nurturing environment. My expectations for students’ behavior within the classroom can be summed up with 3Rs:
What does a Fouse Fox say?
1. Be Ready to listen and learn and be safe.
2. Be Respectful to each other.
3. Be Responsible by trying your best and making good choices.

We are BUCKET FILLERS! In our classroom, students will be encouraged to attempt to problem solve with each other without the interjection of an adult. This will take time and practice to solve. I try to allow kid sized problems to be solved by kids. I focus on our classroom helping each other and working together as a team.
